BigChefs Sustainability Commitment

At BigChefs, we continuously improve our business processes and apply sustainability principles in all areas, while keeping our environmental and social responsibilities in mind.

Sustainability in Our Supply Chain

We collaborate with the Out-of-Home Consumption Suppliers Association (ETÜDER) in order to raise sustainability standards. Currently, 65% of our procurement is sourced from Safe Food Certified suppliers. Our year-end goal is to increase this ratio to 80% and to 95% by 2025. We continue to maintain our pioneering position in the industry by transparently sharing our sustainability targets with our stakeholders.

Our Goals

2024: We have initiated the process of reducing carbon emissions and investing in renewable energy sources. 2025: We have succeeded in reducing waste by 30% and increasing the use of recycled materials to 50%. 2026: We aim to transition to cage-free eggs in all our restaurants.

Sustainability and Responsible Procurement Strategy in the Supply Chain

At BigChefs, our sustainability and responsible procurement strategies are defined as follows:

2024: We have initiated efforts to obtain 80% of the Out-of-Home Consumption Suppliers Association (ETÜDER) Trusted Supplier Certification and to monitor carbon emissions in our supply chain.

2025: We have implemented farm-to-fork contracted and traceable agriculture policies, increasing the certification rate to 95%. We have also implemented a supplier code of conduct policy.

2026: We aim to use 100% cage-free eggs in all our restaurants.

2028: We will launch policies for the use of geographically indicated and organic products and comply with the Global Sustainable Seafood Initiative. These goals will demonstrate our commitment to fulfilling our environmental and social responsibilities and maintaining our leadership within the industry.
